I grew up in an alcoholic household where my parents drank every day. We thought that alcohol was fun and the norm. My sister and I have stopped drinking. All 3 of us kids feel the effects of mom's alcoholism every day in our lives. We are scarred. But have we broken the cycle. I live a healthy life. I am a writer and I love being out in nature. I have completed my certificate in Peer Recovery Coaching for Addiction.
